Meet Nik

Hi I’m Nik Woolford. I am a passionate gardener and adventurer based in Hawea Flat. Raised between NZ and Australia, I love spending time outside.

I have worked extensively as a gardener, plant adviser, grower, garden coach and designer, as well as coordinating community environmental events and kitchen gardens in Schools.

I am passionate about spending time in and restoring natural habitats, and connecting people. Currently, I am a part of the Te Kākano team and  guide visitors to the region with Eco Wānaka.

I enjoy weaving what I have learnt & practiced from Gardening, Land care and Outdoor education and have completed courses in Permaculture Design, BHU Organics, Nursery Management and Horticulture,  Burnley Garden design elements, TASHM Plant immersion,  Diploma of Outdoor Education.

Along with my Husband, we are regenerating an acre section into an edible and wild garden space that provides food, habitat, creativity and connection.

I would love to chat with you about how I can help you.
