Hi I'm Nik Woolford.
I am a passionate gardener and adventurer based in Hāwea Flat. Raised between NZ and Australia, I love being in Nature.
Spending time in and restoring habitats, growing delicious food, creating beautiful gardens and connecting with people in these spaces is important to me. They offer opportunities to enrich our relationships with each other and our surroundings.
I am motivated to observe and support wild spaces & allow healthy ecosystems to develop in our gardens 🌱 Holistic gardening and landscape design can also support a deep connection and respect for the environment.
I appreciate nature’s beauty and intricacies 🥬 and believe that growing food is love💚
Currently I am focused on sharing my knowledge and skills as a Garden Coach and Designer. I enjoy weaving what I have learnt & practiced from Observations, Gardening, Landcare and Outdoor Education.
I am also currently a part of the Te Kākano whanau, the Hawea Valley Nursery crew and I also find time to guide visitors in the area with Eco Wānaka.
